The sojourns and expeditions of the new neighborsgo mascot - Goby! If you have a special destination for Goby, let us know.

So Goby may have taken a one weekend hiatus from his February adventures, but that is becuase our bite-sized steel framed mascot has been hitting the weights and preparing for his latest journey yet - a trip behind the scenes at a Texas Professional Wrestling Association event.

Our little travel companion is making sure to end his current reign with the North Zone in the best way possible, by seeing how hard it is for Mickey Rourke to play the role of Randy "The Ram" Robinson.

Be on the lookout this weekend for photos and posts of the event.

To catch Goby this Saturday, he will be at the Jackson Technology Center Gym, 1310 Bobbie Lane in Garland.

Goby helped sing "Happy Birthday" and even had some cake for my birthday yesterday.

Last weekend, the recognizable neighborsgo totem, Goby, made a weekend excursion to Fossil Rim Wildlife Center in Glen Rose with Garland editor, Marcus Murphree. Goby was humored as the rugged reporter came face to face with native African animals such as zebras, gazelle and giraffe. The pint-sized neighbor was able to keep from laughing uncontrollably when a zebra decided to go wild and take a bite out of Marcus' forearm.

Unfortunately, Goby was not there to witness the Texas fireball, but Marcus was able to find some other members of the community who did experience the event.

This is the third installment in the Goby Goes series. For more information on Goby's weekend travel companion, click here.

He'll be at Starbucks for the Richardson/Far North Dallas meet-and-greet on Friday. There is a suspicion that he's the reason we've seen a surge in RSVP'd invitation acceptances.

After chugging coffee for two hours, he says, he's headed to Denny's for a grand slam or three. Then Texas de Brazil for a gluttonous lunch.

Goby's origin may not be known, however, his enthusiasm for travel is not one to be taken lightly. Last weekend, he satisfied his thirst for blood sports and watched the North Texas Griffins and Garland/Wylie/Sachse editor Marcus Murphree face the Denton Rugby Football Club. The Griffins lost, but Goby was still entertained.

After the match, the steel figurine declined to partake in the traditional beer after blood festivities, but was still willing to stop for a couple photos to show where his trekking shoes took him.

Stay tuned for Goby's Valentine's adventures next week.
