Robin Hackett, a local singer/songwriter, will perform an evening of original music and jazz standards on Wednesday, April 2 at the Sammon Center for the Arts in Dallas from 7-10 p.m. Robin Hackett is an accomplished musician and vocalist. She is a transplant from New York City but has made DFW her home for the last five years. Her music has been featured on the CBS hit comedy “How I Met Your Mother” and she was a guest artist on KDFW Fox 4 Good Day. She has been featured in popular magazines and her music topped the Billboard Internet charts alongside K.D. Lang, and Emmy Lou Harris. She will be joined at the Sammon jazz series by Julie Bonk on piano, Chris Clarke on bass, Andrew Griffith on drums, and Shelley Carrol on woodwinds. Tickets for this event are $35 and include complimentary beer, wine, soft drinks, appetizers and valet parking.
