The Lake Highlands Junior Women’s League will be hosting it’s 4th Annual Run the Highlands 5K and 1 Mile Family Walk on Saturday, April 26, 2008. A community carnival will follow the race event. Proceeds will benefit Lake Highlands North Recreation Center’s future Pond Restoration Project. Additional proceeds will provide continued amenities to our ongoing collaboration projects with the City of Dallas and the Dallas Parks and Recreation Department onsite at the center.
