Hickory Creek Town Hall Meeting - Recent wind storm damage and flooding in the City have emphasized the importance of maintaining Hickory Creek as the major channel way for the City's storm water. A special Town Hall meeting is being scheduled by the City Council on Thursday May 29, 2008 at 7 pm at the Civic Center 12400 Elam Road to discuss proposed improvements to maintaining the creek. Individuals who have received letters concerning easements to allow the city to access the creek for maintenance purposes are encouraged to attend and learn more about how this project will benefit the community.
