The LiveStrong Day event is organized to educate the community on a disease that affects 1 in every 3 Americans. The second annual LiveStrong Day event will be held on Tues., May 13, 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Medical Center of Lewisville (MCL), 2nd floor, 500 West Main Street in Lewisville. Encourage the wonderful women in your life to get a reduced rate mammogram on May 13 sponsored by the Medical Center of Lewisville as part of LiveStrong Day. Mammogram appointments can be made by contacting MCL at 972/420-1049. Take the time to also encourage the men in your life to take advantage of the $5 PSA to screen for prostate cancer.
