In conjunction with its annual Summer Reading program for children, the Roy and Helen Hall Memorial Library, 101 E. Hunt St., offers a Summer Reading Program for adults. The program runs concurrently with the children’s program, from June 1 through August 15th. Registration begins Sunday, June 1st at the Library’s Fiction/Young Adult desk. There are no fixed goals of number of books read or hours spent reading, just the opportunity to indulge your appetite for reading, either alongside your children’s or on your own.. Readers are automatically entered to win prizes, and in August, participants will enjoy an Ice Cream Social sponsored by the McKinney Ben & Jerry’s (northwest corner of Eldorado and U.S. 75).
