The Crape Myrtle Trails Foundation presents the first annual ‘Tour the Trails’ event in conjunction with McKinney’s Red, White and Boom Celebration on July 4th! This is the inaugural and historic event for The Crape Myrtle Trails of McKinney and the City of McKinney is a dream-come-true for many involved with the organization to host actual coach-bus tours of the beautiful streets of McKinney to see the diverse varieties of crape myrtles planted in McKinney at the peak bloom-time. The first inaugural coach-bus will depart at 12:00pm from Heard-Craig Hall and will feature a personally guided tour by Neil Sperry of, Neil Sperry’s Texas Gardening show, with subsequent tours guided by Collin County Master Gardeners and will depart at 1:00, 2:00 and 3:00pm. All busses depart from and return to the Heard-Craig Hall, located at 205 W. Hunt Street, McKinney, Texas 75069.
