Flower Mound Public Library Autism: A Personal Memoir Day/Date: Wednesday, August 27, 2008 Time: 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. An award-winning Texas journalist and writer, Peggy Heinkel-Wolfe has published her first book, See Sam Run. This tender memoir recounts the first few years of her oldest son's life, before she and her late husband, Mark, knew that Sam had autism. The book's original manuscript was the 2005 winner of the Mayborn Literary Nonfiction contest. She lives in Argyle with her three children, including Sam, who is now 20 years old.
