TXU Energy is teaming up with Citizens Development Center to sponsor the 2008 TXU Energy Dash for Dignity, a 5K and one-mile fun run. The event will take place at White Rock Lake on October 11, and there will be additional activities, food and fun for the whole family to enjoy. The TXU Energy Dash for Dignity benefits Citizens Development Center, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to empower men and women with disabilities to achieve their highest level of employability.
