Art Show Highlights Sanitation Worker Struggle One-night only show on Thursday, September 4, 6-9 p.m. CityGallery, an entity of Church in the Cliff, will present a one-night-only art show at First Thursday in the Bishop Arts district of Oak Cliff on September 4 from 6-9 p.m. The show, featuring works created with found and recycled materials and garbage, will be installed in the alley on Bishop between 7th & 8th streets, between the Soda Gallery and Artisan’s Collective. Artists were challenged to create works in support of a living wage for City of Dallas sanitation workers, and this show will demonstrate that the intersection of art and social justice is one of the most powerful forces for change
