The Big Read kicks off on Monday, October 6, with "From the Maltese to Meltzer", a talk from bestselling author Brad Meltzer. Meltzer will speak at the Irving Arts Center, 3333 N. MacArthur Blvd., at 7 p.m. He will be available to greet the public and sign books afterwards. The appearance is made possible through the library's partnership with the Irving Arts Center, and with a special thanks to the Friends of the Irving Public Library.
