After undergoing 10 hours of surgery his parents were given the devastating news that he would never walk again. His injuries from this accident were so severe it has left him paralyzed from the waist down. He faces more surgeries and rehabilitation. Michael was featured in the Mesquite News last year for his college signing to play soccer at Howard Payne University. He was a varsity soccer player
