The 17th Annual Trinity Trash Bash will be held on Saturday, September 13, at the west parking lot of Irving City Hall. The event promotes clean up of the Trinity River watershed, Irving and its neighboring communities. Onsite registration begins at 8:00 a.m., and area and neighborhood clean-ups are from 9:00 to noon. Participants meet back at City Hall for food, games, prizes and music. Irving Mayor Herbert Gears is this year's honorary chair, and Irving has won the Trash Bash Challenge for its population the past two years.
