MONTHLY MEETING OF THE PLANO CHAPTER OF THE SONS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION PLANO, TEXAS, SEPTEMBER 10, 2008: The Plano Chapter of the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution will hold its regular monthly meeting on October 14, 2008, at Tino’s Mexican Restaurant, located in the Collin Creek Mall, in Plano, Texas. The meeting, which is open to the public, will start at 7 PM and is preceded by a social gathering which starts at 6 PM. The program for the meeting this month will highlight awards given to members of the Plano Police and Fire Departments for their outstanding service to the community during the past year. Honorees will be awarded the Law Enforcement Commendation Medal with certificate, the Fire Safety Commendation Medal with certificate, the Emergency Medical Services Commendation Medal with certificate, and the Bronze Good Citizenship Medal with certificate.
