Dr. Manish Gupta, Oncologist, on staff at Texas Oncology in Garland, as well as, in Plano, will speak to us during the October Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Dr. Gupta is a graduate of the American University of Caribbean Medical School and did his internship, residency and a fellowship at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center. Please join us on Tuesday, October 7th @ 7:00 P.M. in room 103/105 of FUMC, 801 West Avenue B, Garland for this informative meeting. Suzette Clark, a Clinical Research Coordinator for Baylor Research Institute will also be joining us to tell us about a new program. Baylor is currently recruiting interested participants for an Aquatic Exercise study for people who have had breast cancer and developed Lymphedema. This is a no cost study. She is currently coordinating 5 research studies. She will also bring some brochures on breast health and cancer in men, and other information about cancer.
