The First Ever North Texas Volunteer Challenge!

The Volunteer Center of North Texas (VCNT) will be hosting the first-ever North Texas Volunteer Challenge (NTVC), on July 11th, from 8am-Noon. The NTVC is a four-hour day of service that brings together hundreds of volunteers to lend a helping hand and make a difference at 30 different nonprofit organizations across North Texas. Given all the work that nonprofits do for the community, they often don’t have the time or the funds to get everything they need done. All of the projects offered will be ones to help these nonprofits with much needed tasks that they otherwise would not be able to accomplish.

The NTVC is open to all members of the community: individual volunteers, families, students, corporations, civic groups and more. Anyone who is interested in volunteering is welcome to sign up.  It will be held at different nonprofit locations throughout the Dallas, Tarrant, and Collin counties.

The funds raised will benefit the VCNT enabling them to expand their service delivery to more than 1,655 nonprofit organizations and array of causes like Children and Youth, Seniors, Health and Wellness, Disaster Relief, Literacy and Education, Animal Support, Environment, Homelessness, Community Enrichment, Employment and Career, Hunger, and Neighborhood Revitalization.Visit www.vcnt.org to learn more information or to sign up. Registration is $15.00 for Adults (18+), and $10.00 for youth/students (12-17). All participants will receive a free NTVC t-shirt, pin and goodie bag as well as a great experience giving back to the communities in which they live, work and serve.
