A little off the subject of local politics but the following is my wish list that I send to my elected officials ... State and Federal almost every week for the last several months. Perhaps if more people joined me in my requests we could get something done. State and Federal elected officials need to do the people's business by getting done the things they can do. I recommend starting with the easiest things first, (so pick one) Fool proof ID cards, build a fence on our Southern border, freeze legal immigration for 10 years, term limits for all offices, revoke pensions for elected officials and government employees, random but 100% inclusive drug and alcohol tests for all government employees including our representatives, keep high tech jobs and technology in this country .. stop exporting high tech manufacturing processes. Of course, win the war on terror, even if we have to reinstate a new form of the draft that could include service not just in the military but civil services as well. Find Osama B. and his sick buddies. Feel free to add or subtract to the "Wish List" of things our representatives should accomplish for us next year and send it to them often to let them know we mean business and we are expecting great things!
