J.J. Pearce High School Boys soccer teams won both Varsity and JV games this week against Frisco Wakeland.

- Varsity: The Pearce Boys Soccer varsity team added another "W" to the win column Tuesday night against Frisco Wakeland. Pearce started the second half with a 1-0 lead, but was forced to play the remainder of the game one player short. Pearce rose to the occasion and scored three more goals, finishing the game with 4-0 score. The next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 5, at home against Frisco Centennial at 7:15 p.m. Come cheer the team on! (Submitted by Kim Ramirez)
- JV: With 4 district games under their belts, the JV Boys Soccer team is undefeated in district play. They have defeated FriscoHighSchool, Frisco Liberty, and Highland Park. They continued this success Tuesday night with a 1-0 win against Frisco Wakeland. The boys played tough on defense, shutting out Wakeland while the winning goal was scored late in the first half by John Emslie on a penalty kick. The next game is at home against Centennial on Tuesday, Feb. 5, at 5:30 p.m. Come cheer your team on, and stay to watch the Varsity at 7:15 p.m. (Submitted by Dara Bickham)
