The ESL class at W.H. Adamson High School in North Oak Cliff recently completed a PowerPoint project that explained where they came from and why they're here. Some of the students have been featured this week in a series in The Dallas Morning News and Al Dia. We are a group of immigrant high school students who want to tell you a little about our lives. Most of us have been here about two years, a few only one year, and some three or four years.  We are still learning English. We had some help from our teachers and school librarians in creating these PowerPoint presentations, but most of the work is ours. (The phonetic spelling, for example, is typical of students who are learning English.)
