Eleven-year-old Gabriel Acuna will perform as Michael Jackson this weekend at two different elementary schools in Rockwall.

Gabriel’s performances will include singing, dancing and rhythm skating Friday, Nov. 6 at Grace Hartman Elementary, 1325 Petaluma Drive; and on Saturday, Nov. 7 at CainMiddle School, 6620 FM 3097. Doors open at 7 p.m. and shows begin at 8:30. Admission is $10.

The Hartman show is open to all kids in third through eighth grade; the Cain show is open to second through sixth-graders.

In addition to the show, kids can participate in a hula hoop contest, a half-court shot for cash and a soda slam contest.

Gabriel’s act is part of Planet Kidz, which is celebrating 20 years of operation in Rockwall and is a partner with Rockwall ISD.
