Pearce Boys Varsity Soccer battled till the end and came home with a 1-0 win over Frisco Centennial Friday night. Pearce dominated the first half but only managed to convert once with a combination effort between Luke Joyner and Juan Bonigno. They had several more opportunities in the second half but came up short. Centennial pressured hard the last ten minutes of the game, but the defense held strong and maintained the 1-0 lead. Pearce is still in the playoff hunt and faces a tough opponent next Tuesday, March 11, at 7:15 pm against the Colony at home. This is also Teacher Appreciation Night.
