American Idol: Jason Castro's proud grandma

Of all the photos we've received from Jason's friends, this is by far my favorite. Jason is hugging Grandma Elsa Castro, during her visit to the Idol set in Hollywood.

I can't help but think when I gaze into Grandma Elsa's eyes how incredibly proud she must be of what Jason is accomplishing. She appears almost tearful with pride. And Jason is just so genuinely sweet!

or maybe he's hugging her a little TOO hard? IJK! I love Jason. He is def the most original singer on the show. I've downloaded several of his songs. He breathes new life into every song he does. I esp liked his versions of Over the Rainbow and Halelujah.
