Jason Castro of Rockwall dropped in on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno just in time to be part of a bit with Huey Lewis.

Jay: "Jason's a real American Idol contestant, not a major rock star -- just yet. So to help tell his story, we hired a major rock star."

Huey Lewis enters.

Jason reads from the cue cards: "I was never really a favorite of Simon and Randy, but Paula would always say something nice."

Huey (to the tune of "The Heart of 'N Roll"): "Paula's sweet but dense ... and she makes no sense ... she's such a doll ... more confusion every night.''

Laughter.

Jason: "I'm working on a few projects, and I'm thinking about changing my look a bit."

Huey (to the tune of "I Want a New Drug"): "I want some new dreads ... gonna try a new 'do ... one that won't make me sweat too much ... or look like Whoopi on 'The View.'

Laughter.

Jason responding to Jay's question about Simon's critiques: "I think Simon is the best at what he does."

Huey (to the tune of "Working for a Living"): "He's taking what he's giving ... cause he's bitching for a living."

Laughter.
