When Renee Rubin, who handles publicity for the Richardson ISD Council of PTAs, and a certain neighborsgo editor met a couple weeks ago to talk about coverage for the Council’s major fundraiser of the year – the Used Book Fair at ValleyViewCenter in Far North Dallas – several possibilities came to mind.

It’s not like we didn’t see the end of 2007 coming, but for at least one Lake Highlands High School teacher the old year delivered a surprise ending anyway.
