I received a Pedometer for my Birthday. I decided to try it out. My husband helped me program my information in, but I didn't want him to see my actual weight. So I had to go in and program part of it myself. It was a pain. I had to have him help me with measuring my stride. It is about 24 inches. I am tall so I have a long stride.
Once the pedometer was programmed, I tried it out while I was on the Elliptical. It seems accurate. So it will come in handy when I walk on unmarked trails to see how far I am going, etc. You can also wear it all day and see how many steps you take.
I walked for an hour on my Elliptical and I took 6000 steps, I think I want to try to work up to 8000 steps because I think that is the 4 miles. The Elliptical doesn't tell you miles, it gives your rotations.
