If diets were easy, the word diet would not have the word "die" at the beginning of it.

I weighed today, even though I am trying to only weigh once a week.  It says I lost two pounds this week, even though two days ago when I weighed I hadn't lost any.  This may be due to montly water weight gain earlier this week?  I am still going to stick to the the WW program.  I hope I can add another two pounds off next week.

I haven't lost weight this past week.  I haven't gained, but I haven't lost.  I have slacked a couple of days on the WW program when I went out with friends.

So if I want to lose more, I am really going to have to stick to WW every day.  I think when I splurge on Sundays, I was still losing weight.  But I think I started slacking on other days when I eat out.  Not much, I am still trying to eat better choices, but it's not enough.  I am going to lose at least 10 more pounds so I am going to get back on track.  Thiis is why they say you have to change your lifestyle.  It is hard to eat out and always make good choices.

We went to Brunch at Blue Mesa in Plano.  I tried to keep some control.  I had two small children with me, so that helped.  Too busy keeping the kids sane than browsing all of the food.  I had an omlet with mushrooms, onions, spinach and no cheese.  A small scoop of hashbrowns, 1 sausage.  Some kind of Mexican tamale casserole, and one Mimosa.  Pretty good considering the giant selection of foods there.

I don't count points on Sunday, but I didn't eat again until in the evening and I had chili cheese tater tots at the bowling alley!

I ate a small breakfast because I knew I was going out with friends in the evening.  We are trying Peking Duck for the first time.  It's for my birthday that was earlier in the month.  But my friends and I are just now celebrating.

Breakfast 2 P

Kashi Oatmeal 2 P

Lunch 4 P

Progresso Soup 1 P

Special K crackers 2 P

WW Cream CHeese 1 P

Dinner  - I am not even going to try to calculate my whole dinner, but one serving of Peking Duck can have 650 calories and 55 grams of fat for 18 P!  I did stick to one serving, but that already takes me over my points goal for the day!

4 oz Peking Duck

1 Tortilla

1 T Plum Sauce

Soy Beans

Greenbeans

1/2 Cup Fried Rice

1/5 Fried Banana

At least I had low points for the breakfast and lunch and I did walk for an hour on the elliptical!  I will get back on the bandwagon tomorrow.

I have many friends who ask if I am always hungry on Weight Watchers.  I have tried WW before, so I know what they are talking about.  It seems like the first time I was on WW, all I could think about was my next Point, I think I was more hungry.

But this time, it's differnent.  I don't know if it's my mindset or possibly because I am walking 5 days a week.  I have days that are hard, but most of the time I am not thinking about food all the time.  So maybe the walking is the key?

I received a Pedometer for my Birthday.  I decided to try it out.  My husband helped me program my information in, but I didn't want him to see my actual weight.  So I had to go in and program part of it myself.  It was a pain.  I had to have him help me with measuring my stride.  It is about 24 inches.  I am tall so I have a long stride.

Once the pedometer was programmed, I tried it out while I was on the Elliptical.  It seems accurate.  So it will come in handy when I walk on unmarked trails to see how far I am going, etc.  You can also wear it all day and see how many steps you take.

I walked for an hour on my Elliptical and I took 6000 steps, I think I want to try to work up to 8000 steps because I think that is the 4 miles.  The Elliptical doesn't tell you miles, it gives your rotations.
