I know I've written about this before and Flower Mound isn't one of the communities I actually cover, but oh well. Tonight, the second episode of the second season of Greek starring Flower Mound's own, Scott Michael Foster, will air at 7 p.m. Don't let the name or the fact that it airs of ABC Family fool you. It's a fun show. I promise. But you don't have to take my word for it, take his dad, Michael Foster's. He's posted all about it.

Jason Castro's close brush with elimination on American Idol prompted this question: What does Rockwall's favorite son need to do to improve his standing on the show? We've got a few suggestions at this survey

"Experts say Internet addiction is no joke" screamed the Fox 4 report last night. Then why did they end the segment with "if you'd like to know more about what it means to be addicted to the Internet, check out our Web site"? Isn't this like running a story about drugs, then making people use drugs to find out more about why they're on drugs?

Upon discovering that Idol contestants will be singing Dolly Parton next week, one of the Aggie Moms wrote:  "Oh my...Here you come again? I will always love you? Working 9 to 5?  Hope Jason can pick an upbeat one. Wonder what David Cook will pick?"

Here in the neighborsgo office, we were joking that we'd like to see David Cook try to rock out to 9 to 5.

Aggie Mom Nancy Belew admits she was a bit shaken up last night, but like many Castro fans in Rockwall and around the country, she knew he'd still be safe.

"I thought we had lots of voters, but I think his song choice ("Fragile" by Sting) lost some nationwide votes," she said. "Wish they'd get permission for him to sing "Crazy" - the one he tried out with!"

The mysterious underground rock wall for which our beautiful hometown was named seemed to shake last night at the news of Jason Castro falling into the bottom three. Or perhaps that was my own heart quaking at the thought of Jason leaving the Idol stage prematurely. There's no doubt this blue eyed music man has the talent and distinction worthy of making it all the way...so what's up, Rockwall? What's up, America?

This just in: ABC News anchor Diane Sawyer has a 28.5-inch waist. This according to the nutritionist who just measured her, live, on Good Morning America. Questions? Comments?

As the smoke clears on Jason Castro's close call last night, it brings up a question:

What happened?

His performance wasn't clearly the best on performance night, but it was above the caliber of Ramiele Malubay and Syesha Mercado.

Was his support group in back-to-school mode instead of spring break, like last week? Was Simon Cowell's criticism a factor?

Is it Jason's dreads? Does he need to lose the guitar? Does he need to sing the "Star-Spangled Banner" to get the patriotic vote?

What happened? We're taking all theories.
