Happy Thursday, Dunder Mifflinites! I’ve been seeing those Jim & Pam wedding promos all week, and I don’t know about you, but I’m psyched. But that’s next week. Let’s see how well Dwight’s recovering from his shock last week at finding Jim has become a co-manager. Here we go! (more)

I realize that you can become a social-media pariah for not adhering to spoiler alerts in your status-update posts or tweets. I realize that basically, it's good manners.

But c'mon.

I remember the comic strip in which a couple is talking about the movie "Titanic" as they're exiting the theater and two kids in line for the next showing hear them and blurt out in disgust, "The boat sinks? Hey, thanks for spoiling the ending."

Maybe it's not exactly the same, but the point is close: It's hard to NOT openly talk/tweet/blog about plots to TV shows or movies without disturbing someone who has it recorded but hasn't had the time to see it. And in this world of social media, is it fair to limit your conversations if the others can't keep up?

What do you think? Discuss.

Jeffery Ou of Carrollton embodied America's Got Talent: a person who had a special talent and needed only this NBC program to show it off. As celeb judge David Hasselhoff liked to blurt out, "You're what this show is all about!"

But even Ou couldn't disagree on the final outcome of this year's America's Got Talent.

Kevin Skinner, an unemployed chicken catcher from Kentucky, crooned his way to victory in the million-dollar talent show Tuesday night.

Kevin Skinner's aw-shucks demeanor was on full throttle last night and it was every bit believable on the finale of NBC's America's Got Talent.

Carrollton pianist Jeffery Ou was North Texas' last gasp and made it to last week's semifinal round.

Jeffery Ou's America's Got Talent journey ended in the semifinals last Tuesday -- short of the million-dollar prize.

But the 18-year-old Carrollton pianist will be the toast of the city soon. Carrollton Mayor Ronald F. Branson will proclaim Oct. 18 as "Jeffery Ou Day" in Carrollton.
The proclamation will be awarded through the Savoy of Josey Ranch Neighborhood Association. (more)

Jeffrey Ou and Erik and Rickie are both up.

Then commercial.

Back from commercial.

Nick Cannon tells us the results. And ... both acts are out.

North Texas is shut out of America's Got Talent.

Oh, well. Maybe next year.

Like the teenagers portrayed on the show, The CW's 90210 underwent some changes this summer.

There's a new theme song, which still faintly incorporates the original 1990s theme, but sounds creepy. (Last season's theme was closer to the original and very cheery, with shots of the cast instead of random shots of numbers and beaches.)

There are new cast members, including a guy who is 30+ (seriously) playing a high schooler.

And there's a new, darker tone - from the lighting and music on down to the new method of fading to commercials instead of simply cutting away.

Also, someone killed somebody. Oh, teen angst.

Did you watch? What did you think?
