Pearce Boys Varsity Soccer maintained its tie for second place in district with a 2-0 win over Frisco Wakeland Friday evening.

The J.J. Pearce High School swim team boys took seventh place and girls finished 11th in the 2008 UIL 4A state championships on Feb. 22-23 at the University of Texas pool in Austin, according to correspondent Donna Mullins. 

Pearce Boys Varsity Soccer won a 3-2 heart-stopper Tuesday night at Highland Park.  Highland Park was the first to score early in the first half.  Pearce responded with a goal from Keegan Smith, and later in the first half, Juan Bonigno scored another goal to end the half with a 2-1 lead.

The Pearce Boys JV Soccer team is at the top of the district with an UNDEFEATED record.

Richardson Pearce (4A) and Plano East (5A) stayed alive in the boys high school basketball playoffs as both teams advanced to the regional quarterfinals on Tuesday.

Lake Highlands High School wrestling team finished fifth in the UIL state championships this weekend in Austin, led by three wrestlers who advanced at least to the semifinals.

The Richardson Rampage varsity hockey squad defeated McKinney, 5-1, Thursday night, to keep pace with Frisco, Colleyville Heritage and Arlington Martin and retain fourth place in the Silver Division of the AT&T High School League.
