Have you seen Sex and The City? Contributor Anne Buckley has and calls it a "feathers and froth feature." Be sure to read her review here.

The Strangers (1 hour, 47 minutes; Rated R): A few years ago, a guy persuaded me to let him install a peephole through my front door. For $20, he would drill a hole through my door and put in a tiny scope. I was a hard sell but looking back, I'm glad I did it. Too bad people in movies don't have peepholes on their doors. Can you believe the idiots who hear a knock at 4 in the morning and just swing open the door without confirming who it is?

I'm a fan. Yep, that's right. And, I'm watching it tonight! Despite the good reviews I've read/heard so far, I don't expect it to be an Oscar-award-winning movie. I like to go into a movie thinking the worst so as to avoid total disappointment, especially for a movie as hyped as this one. However, that doesn't mean I'm not looking forward to watching it along with hundreds, no thousands of other fans across the country. As a tribute, I've been listening to Moon River by Andy Williams. You may remember it from a certain memorable episode right before Big moves to LA. Sigh. Ok, I'm ready for my girly night to start.

The Buckley family of Lake Highlands screened "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull." or better known as IJATKOFCS. Did they like it? Read their review here. After you're done, read another. Then, this one.

I've been waiting for this film to come out for the past year and, thankfully, it did not disappoint.

Though the movie was overwhelmingly campy at times, it thoroughly entertained me for the 2.5 hours I was at the theatre. The actors (minus the horrible little girl) were great. Ben Barnes was amazing as Caspian, and I found myself developing a little crush on Skandar Keynes (who plays Edmund). Boy did he grow up since the last film. -- BTW, did anyone else know he's the great-great-great grandson of Charles Darwin? How funny.

This movie won't come out an Oscar-winner (aside from anything other than costumes or special effects), but judging by its opening weekend, it's going to do just fine at the box office.

It's not easy watching 65-year-old Harrison Ford in "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull," or the acronym IJATKOTCS on further reference. Being old myself, I realize how tough it is for someone at retirement age (you know that he qualifies for full Social Security benefits this year) to be swashbuckling all over the place.

Get out your bull whip and your dirt-crusted fedora. It's time for another Indiana Jones sequel. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull opens Thursday. Early reviews have it fast-paced and full of action, so remember not to fill up on the large soda before it starts. Hollywood 75001 offers us his review. Here's the trailer.

It's been out a week, so it's time to debunk Speed Racer. And who better than a guy who respects cars and the laws of engineering physics? Sterling Robertson consults a couple of local car enthusiasts who confirm that the makers of Speed Racer were taking liberties with physics. He lays out in his latest Challenge the Editor webisode. Also, don't miss the Trixie Tryouts: Just in Case There's a Sequel video.

I knew that by staring at Speed Racer for long periods in a darkened theater that I risked going into convulsions. All the spinning colors, flashing lights and high-speed graphics were giving me sensory overload, and it seemed like I was about to relive the Pokémon Panic of 1997.

The trouble with superhero movies: Sometimes the actors don't always look the role. For me, it all started with 1960s Adam West playing Batman. His bat-love handles I could take, but it bothered me that his bat-shorts were hiked to his bat-chest. Also, Bill Bixby morphing into Lou Ferrigno as the Incredible Hulk ... didn't buy it. I couldn't, and still can't, picture Tobey McGuire as Spider-Man.

But Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man. That I can see.

He has exactly the right swagger to play Tony Stark -- a playboy who has seen the error of his ways after a life-threatening experience. So, maybe it wasn't such a reach for him to play Iron Man, which made him very believable for the part.

Worth it? Yep. Go see it ... twice.

Best time to take a bathroom break: Campy superhero dialogue coming from Jeff Bridges' character. Sounds too Dude-like and "Lebowski"-esque.

Product placement: Tony Stark loves him some Burger King.

Bonus content: My favorite superhero of all time.
