The Friday night lights are on in full force throughout North Texas, and this can only mean one thing: High school football is back!

This season promises to be full of many familiar themes - the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat, returning champs and underdogs who persevere.

This season also promises something different: For the first time, HSGameTime.com and neighborsgo are partnering to present as many of these stories - in your words and images - in print.

You'll still find the same thorough Dallas Morning News staff game coverage in Saturday's SportsDay section and on HSGameTime.com. But starting Friday, Sept. 5, you'll start seeing your coverage of the games in our print neighborsgo sections.

How can you get your favorite teams in print? It's simple. You can start today by uploading the photos you shot at last night's games to HSGameTime.com/dfw. Once online, neighborsgo editors will select the best images to run in the following Friday's print editions.

Have stories to share? You can post those, too - as well as videos. Once you've posted, you'll have a link to share with your friends and family. You'll also have a shot at having your material appear in print.

Wait, you're saying. What's the catch? There isn't one - the site is free, signing up is a breeze and you can still pick up a neighborsgo for free, as well, at your area Starbucks. (Or you can start subscribing to The Dallas Morning News, which neighborsgo comes with every week in 39 area communities.)

OK, maybe there is one catch - the great catch that clinched last night's game. And the shots of the awesome band formation, pep rally or cheerleader squad. These images are on your digital camera. We want to see them and want you to share them with the entire area.

Questions? Comments? Drop us a line at community@neighborsgo.com or contact editors directly at neighborsgo.com/connect. Until then, see you online at HSGameTime.com or neighborsgo.com and in print in neighborsgo. Happy posting, everyone!
