What is this area for? I'm confused.

As I am sitting here thinking about what to "Blog" about, I started thinking about the word "Blog" itself. What does it really mean and where did it really come from? Is it a compound word? Back-Log? Web-Log? Supercalla-fra-blog-istic-expie-alla-blogshish? I think it derived from the latter, no doubt.

Also, its a super fun word to say. Lets say it together. BLOG! How'd that feel? Did you really emphasize the BL? You should say it with such force that you are pressing the bottom of your tongue against the back of your top front teeth. I dont know what they are called because I'm a half witted radio DJ.. Anyway when you say "BLog" your tongue should comin flying out of your mouth as to insenuate that you are kind of throwing up a little. Your lips should flops a little as well. Lets practice. Ready? BLog! One more time. BLog! Good. Now, you are ready for social situations. Lets say you are at your local Starbucks getting a nice warm cup of Joe and you are on your laptop. Someone stops by to say hi and they ask what you are doing, you calmly reply with a forceful, "I'm writing a BLog!" They might jump back as to avoid the vomit rocket that you are projecting at them but it will be okay when they realize that there was no vomit rockets being projected at them. The force of the BLog can take one aback but once its noticed how cool you really are for saying BLog in this manner, your life will change forever!

BLog also rhymes with a ton of other words, so lets test your MC skills and see how many you can rhyme. Ready? Set. GO!
