Cole raced locally this weekend in Denton, Texas for a Rotax Qualifier Race as the Grand Nationals are fast approaching. Cole finished the night with a perfect night as he set pole by 2/10th’s and had a close pre final race where he just edged Cordero Torres by a kart length. In the final, however, Cole was able to get into the first turn and get a sizeable gap to the field as they battled for position behind him and he finished 6 seconds from the field to take his 2nd win of the night. Cole and the rest of the Alonso Kart USA Team (Devlin DeFrancesco, Jack West, Dore Chaponick, and Derek Sobel) will compete next weekend in Norman which will bring the best Rotax racers in the Country together for preparation and tuning for the Grand Nationals.
