Cole qualified outside pole in both classes, Junior 1 and Mini Max. The prefinals had Cole performing well, finishing second in the Junior 1 class with an underpowered K80 against the other Yamaha KT100's. In the Mini Max, Cole jumped out to the lead and checked out from the rest of the field winning his 65th race and 6th Mini Max win in only 13 races. Cole had the fastest time by almost 3/10th's. The finals did not have luck on his side as with a lead half way through the race by over four kart lengths, Cole made a mistake and got sideways coming out of Turn 9 and spun backwards across the track and got hit hard by another driver who had no where to go knocking both drivers out of the race. In the Junior 1 Final, Cole was in 2nd place coming out of Turn 1 where he got completely sideways and lost 4 positions never to make up too much ground and ended up fourth. Overall a great night for speed, some more podiums and another win, but a few mistakes cost Cole from having a flawless night....that's racing!
