Achieving Justice with DA Craig Watkins *This event is FREE and open to the entire Dallas Community!*
The Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Dallas presents “Achieving Justice: DNA and the Criminal Justice System,” a discussion on the problems in the criminal justice system that has resulted in innocent people being convicted and, in some cases, given the death penalty. The event will feature Dallas County District Attorney Craig Watkins who has been a national leader in using DNA evidence to free people who have been convicted and jailed for crimes they did not commit. District Attorney Watkins will be joined on a panel by Cassandra Jeu, Deputy Director of the Texas Innocence Network.
