As a tribute to Abi Ferrin, Shinsei will be unveiling their new uniforms and offering a 20% discount on food for anyone wearing an Abi Ferrin piece on Wednesday, November 17th. A portion of the proceeds with benefit “Women Of Purpose” an organization founded by Abi Ferrin and helps rescue abused women in third world countries.

Achieving Justice with DA Craig Watkins
*This event is FREE and open to the entire Dallas Community!*
The Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Dallas presents “Achieving Justice: DNA and the Criminal Justice System,” a discussion on the problems in the criminal justice system that has resulted in innocent people being convicted and, in some cases, given the death penalty. The event will feature Dallas County District Attorney Craig Watkins who has been a national leader in using DNA evidence to free people who have been convicted and jailed for crimes they did not commit. District Attorney Watkins will be joined on a panel by Cassandra Jeu, Deputy Director of the Texas Innocence Network.

‘Through the Looking Glass,’ the fall 2009 North Lake College Student Photography Exhibition, runs from Nov. 12 to Dec. 3 in the North Lake College Gallery. A reception honoring the North Lake College Student Photographers and their work will be held on Nov. 12, 7:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
This year's Student Photography Exhibition showcases the works of P. Gallegos Enriquez and features the works North Lake College film and digital photography students.
