Providence Christian School of Texas Book Fai Providence Christian School of Texas Book Fair: held at Providence Christian School, 5002 West Lovers Lane in Dallas on Nov. 3, 2009 from 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. and Nov. 4, 2009 from 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Book Fair new this year:
-Providence has created a "Guide to Great Literature" that lists the top 100 books every child should read; this guide, available as a book and a CD, will be available for purchase for $35.
-There will be a silent auction for the rarest books and out-of-print books.
-All proceeds will go to the scholarship fund.
-Book Fair preceeds the Reading Rally, a four-week school-wide event in which children and families read more than 1 million minutes to raise funds for scholarships.
-In 2008, the #s for Reading Rally: More than 1.1 million minutes read and more than $105,000 raised.

Breast Cancer Survivor Group Meeting New Life New Hope Breast Cancer Survivors Group is pleased to have Dr. Denton Watumull, M.D. of Regional Plastic Surgery Center & Spa as the guest speaker at the November 3, 2009, meeting. Dr. Watumull is noted multiple times for being one of the best plastic surgeons in Dallas and featured in D Magazine and one of the best plastic surgeons in Texas by Texas Monthly Magazine top docs, 4 years, consecutively.
