On Saturday, October 4, from 1-3 p.m. the Volunteer Center of North Texas will hosted the fourth annual Collin County Teen Volunteer Fair at Strikz Entertainment Center in Frisco located at 8789 Lebanon Road. More than 200 teens will rally to learn about the importance of giving back to their community through volunteerism while enjoying fun entertainment with peers, family and friends. Teens will interact with representatives from local nonprofit agencies such as: McKinney Performing Arts Center, Frisco Miracle League, Collin County Teen Court, Frisco Family YMCA, Innovative Challenges, Jr. Friscoâs Womenâs League, CITY House, Share A Smile, Frisco Family Services and NewStart Angel Food to learn about their organizations and how they can help make a difference. Teens who signed up received a free game of bowling or laser tag, and the first 100 teens to visit agency booths will receive a free t-shirt. Sponsors include: Strikz Entertainment Center, JCPenney, Tom Thumb, 106.1 KISS FM, Clear Channel Dallas and Frisco RoughRiders. For more information, visit www.powercrew.org.
