Me in My Words: Thanks, McKinney neighbors, for voting me "Best Contributor" in NeighborsGo - I'm honored! Besides writing, the embroidered back of my motorcycle jacket says it all: "I'd Rather Be Sewing". Art, photography, and enjoying My 3 Men (and all their unique activities) round out the mix.
Interests: Sewing and embroidery, painting, creating art (especially repurposing or making 'something from nothing'), traveling, motorcycle riding, meeting people, enjoying friends, participating in my boys' hobbies -- which could be at a forge or a hangar.
Favorite Sports Teams: No teams...but my favorite 'sport' is hitting the Square and visiting restaurants, galleries and shops like Happiness Is . . . Quilting!, a sweet place to get inspired.
Interesting things for other users to know: I spent my early years in South America. I have travleled through 4 continents, savoring every minute. I've learned all I know about electricity & physics from my favorite EE. I love Texas, Texans ('bless their hearts') and living in McKinney.
Favorite Movies: "Bride and Prejudice", an Indian send-up of the British version; Notting Hill; Brokeback Mountain (love that soundtrack, too!); The English Patient; Christmas Vacation; any Czech movie.
Favorite TV Shows: Shows having to do with crime-solving. I'll admit it: I like American Idol and The Bachelor, too. HGTV and Ace of Cakes are on a lot.
