My Interests:
Me in My Words: A former editor for neighborsgo and former director of student media at The University of Texas at Dallas from 2001-2007. I'm a proud Texas Tech alum and single Dad to the greatest 14-year-old in the world, Ryan.
Interests: all things outdoors (camping, fishing, hiking), sports (especially watching and coaching my son in baseball and basketball), snow skiing and traveling to & learning about historical sites.
Favorite Sports Teams: Mavs, Cowboys, Rangers, Texas Tech Red Raiders (my alma mater) and Richardson West High Junior High (where my son plays basketball and runs track)
Interesting things for other users to know: I was in media relations for 10 years with the U.S. Olympic Committee in Colorado Springs, CO and worked three Olympic Games -- 1992 Summer Games in Barcelona, 1996 Summer Games in Atlanta, GA and 2002 Winter Games in Salt Lake City, UT.

At the July meeting of the Dallas County East Democrats (DACED) on July 30th, our program and Speakers will be from ObamaDallas. Molly Hanchey and Sharron Steele from Obama's Dallas campaign will be speaking to our group about how to become more involved with helping Sen. Obama's efforts in winning Dallas County this coming November. I hope you will be able to make it, It's sure to be very informative. The DACED meets at Paula Sue's Diner 11915 E. Lake June Rd.
