On February 5, Canyon Creek Presbyterian Church members and their friends were invited to CCPC’s annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner.  While musicians performed Dixieland jazz, families dined on delicious pancakes with butter and syrup, sausage, apple sauce and beverages.  Children enjoyed crafts such as mask making, balloon art, and face painting.   The dinner was sponsored by the Exaltation Middle School Choir.  Donations from the evening will be used for the choir’s spring trip to Oklahoma City, where they plan to share their music with area churches and retirement homes.  The following evening, Exaltation sang at the church’s Ash Wednesday service.
