On March 8, 2008, Holy Trinity Lutheran Church opens its 5th year of 2nd Saturday Markets. The Market provides a place for the community to gather and sell merchandise, crafts, plants, fresh produce (in season). Various community organizations such as the police, fire department and City of Irving's Environmental Services offer education opportunities. The church provides games for children and contests. In 2007 we sponsored a Pet Blessing, Fresh Salsa Contest and a Pumpkin Carving contest. The church is delighted to provide a forum for individuals in the community to meet and get to know one another. We also believe that the Market promotes Environmental Stewardship by offering local vendors, fresh local produce in season and garage sale items for reuse.
