BETHEL ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE

Bethel Road will be closed from Freeport Parkway east to the east property line of the Hard Eight Restaurant and from Freeport Parkway west approximately 1,800 feet for reconstruction of the intersection of Freeport Parkway and Bethel Road from March 17 until April 18, 2008.   North and south bound traffic on Freeport Parkway will be maintained, however, traffic will be affected by narrowed and/or reduced lanes.

Detour signage will be prominent and information on alternate routes will be provided on the city’s website.

We regret any inconvenience this may cause the traveling public.  Traffic and worker safety is the paramount concern in this closure and the road will be re-opened to motorists as soon possible after reconstruction of the intersection is complete.  For more information, call Project Engineer Keith Marvin, P.E. at 972-304-3681 or the Engineering Department at 972-304-3679.
