Meadowview School

Thirteen years ago I walked in the front door of Meadowview School to apply for a job as a school secretary.  That day Beverly Presley the director and founder hired me and I have loved every day I have been here.  This is the school that focuses on family, love, christian principals, and helping children with Learning Differences. In my years at Meadowview, I have been privileged to meet and work with many parents and community leaders who believe in Meadowview. The announcement of the closing of our school has been very painful and difficult to accept.  What of our children?  There is no school in the Eastern area of Dallas County that offers the nurturing spirit that we offer to our students.  They know they are loved and cared for daily.  Our teachers are wonderful guides for the students and the education they receive prepares them for a bright future.  It would be a shame for our school to cease to exist for the want of money. We need to raise $314,000 by May 14 and and additional $750,000 to operate our school next year.  This will give us time to recruit and enroll the students necessary to be once again a self-sustaining facility.  We believe in the need for our school and want the rest of the community to believe in it also.  Please, if you are out there..........consider helping our students continue to learn in an environment that teaches them to be the best that they can be by giving generously to save Meadowview School. Call the school office at (972)289-1831 and talk to me, Gail, about how you can help us continue to serve the children and our community by keeping Meadowview open.
