Nebbie Williams Elementary roped in Texas Public Schools week by kicking up their heels with a western rodeo Friday, March 14, 2008. As a part of celebrating Texas Public Schools week, not only were the halls and rooms decked out in western wear, but so were the students and teachers. There were ten gallon hats, boots, jeans and even some horses to rustle up. With our Nebbie WATCH D.O.G.S. coordinating events like the stick horse relay, horseshoes, panning for gold, and cow roping, even the smoothest of city slickers got a "gone country" taste of fun. As all the cowpokes tipped their hats and said happy trails to the day, they headed off to enjoy a great spring break. This is sure to be a boot scootin' day they will never forget!
