The XCELEX 99 Girls team took the Championship in soccer at the RISE.  It was a wonderful game full of excitement.  The other team went up quickly to 2-0, but our girls came back and at the end of regulation play, it was a tie game at 2-2.  After overtime, it was still a tie game, so it went in to a shoot out.  A first for this very young team.  They pulled together and won 6-4.  Way to go XCELEX 99. 
This team is part of the Academy program XCELEX offers.  They just started working together in late fall and with the dedication of each girl and the wonderful coaches, they have a very bright future.
