Northwest Recreation Center hosted its second Annual Spring Social for kids in the 3^rd through 5^th grades.   The kids had a great time listening to music, eating pizza and playing a game of modified musical chairs, which got them moving and they started to enjoy the festivities.  It was ladies night in the event contest. The basketball shoot out was won by Kristin Carter with a total of six points. The hula hoop contest was a competitive event that led to a tie between Ciceley & Cynthia Miles and Mycaiah Palmer.  The kids had a great time and we are looking forward to expanding this event next year.    We are pleased that we are able to provide a safe place for kids in the community to participate in such events.  NorthwestRecreationCenter is dedicated to providing quality programs that can be enjoyed by all in our community.
