The Episcopal Church of the Ascension has created the“Zip Code of Hope Scholarship.” This scholarship will provide an opportunityfor college-bound high school or currently enrolled college students to plan and implement an outreach activity that will make a difference in the lives of the poor and disadvantaged within our community.   The proposed project must take place within the zipcode of 75243.   Interested students complete an application to for a proposed project that meets certain guidelines and, if awarded the scholarship, will receive up to $4,000 toward college education upon completion of the project, and through the process will develop leadership skills by  managinga project that expresses their faith or values.  For more details and scholarship application materials, see the Church website www.ascensiondallas.org or contact Rev.
