Area Residents Work on the Breast Cancer Builds Habitat for Humanity Project.
Dr. Sheron Patterson, a breast cancer survivor, decided she wanted to find a way to give back to her community. She organized other breast cancer survivors along with their families and friends to build a new home for a deserving family.
Pink Soles in Motion, a breast cancer 3-Day team that has breast cancer survivors on the team, helped kick off the initial construction on Saturday March 1st by supplying 10 of the 25 volunteers. To learn more about the project or to volunteer go to http://www.drsheron.com/.
