Bunny Gets Help from Girl Scouts

1 Rating / 1 Comment

The Easter Bunny got a little help this year from Girl Scouts in North Dallas.  Senior Troop 297 coordinated an Easter Basket drive for the troops of North Dallas Service Unit 133.  They delivered 71 baskets to Community Partners of Dallas from 8 participating troops.

Participating troops collected Easter basket supplies through local drives or purchased supplies with troop funds raised through cookie sales.  The girls enjoyed assembling baskets for boys and girls aged pre-school to teen.  Baskets included a variety of items from books and small toys to gift cards and make-up – and of course, chocolate bunnies, jelly beans, and Easter eggs!

Community Partners provides resources and services to abused and neglected children served by the Dallas Child Protective Service.

Girl Scouts helps girls grow in courage, confidence and character.   For more information about Girl Scouts in North Texas, contact the Council office at 972-349-2400 or go to www.gsnetx.org.
