Canterbury Episcopal School Art Show
The Canterbury Episcopal School Upper School Art Show showcased 25 pieces of art that were on display at DeSoto City Hall Lobby. The art pieces included pencil, photography, paint, three dimensional pieces, and much more.
The exhibit was on display from March 25-28 with a reception on March 27th from 3:30-5. Refreshments included cake truffles, sun dried tomatoe appetizers, chocolate covered apricots, and a vegetable tray. Yes, these students take their art/food very seriously. Hats off to student chefs Becky Hummel, Grade 10 and Rachel Vaughan, Grade 11.

City of DeSoto Mayor Bobby Waddle greeted the students and congratulated them on their work. Special thanks to Kathy Maples Jones, Communications Director with the City of DeSoto for assisting us in set-up.
The next Canterbury School Art Exhibit will move to Downtown Dallas as 8th grade students will feature art pieces created with a partnership with the Crow Collection of Asian Art Museum in the Arts District.
