As spring rolled in, the 1st grade at McKenzie Elementary held its first ever egg drop. Teachers challenged students to design and build a container that would prevent an egg from breaking when thrown off the roof of the school. Students rose to the challenge and provided many creative and functional containers. As Principal Lewis dropped each egg, students watched in anticipation for signs of breaking eggs. When all of the eggs had been tossed, 39 of 61 survived the fall!
